About Vicky
Vicky Canham was born and bred in Northern England and moved to Guelph in her mid-thirties. After studying Social Policy at University she spent many years working at not for profit organisations mostly in Youth Crime projects.
After her daughter was born Vicky was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) which was contributing to the secondary infertility she was experiencing. She decided to try acupuncture as she'd had a positive experience using Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs as a teenager for hormonal acne. Her experience with acupuncture was profound and after the birth of her son she went back to college to study Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture full time.
Vicky graduated from Acupuncture school in 2011 and shortly after moved with her partner and two young children to Guelph.

Although she has developed a specific interest in Mental Health, Vicky operates a general practice and enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that acupuncture can help with such as: male/female fertility support, women's health, acute and chronic pain, gastro-intestinal disorders, sleep issues, fatigue and addiction.
In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family in the backyard, and since the pandemic she's been a part of a Brazilian Samba Reggae group!
