Initial Consultation & Treatment - 90 minutes

A number of different diagnostic methods are used to get a complete picture of your health and lifestyle. These include taking a comprehensive medical history, reading your pulses and looking at your tongue. Based on the information gathered during consultation, a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis is made and a personalised treatment plan is formulated.

Very fine needles are then inserted into specifically selected acupuncture points on the body to regulate the flow of ‘qi’, your body’s vital energy. The needles are retained for 15-30 minutes. (The single-use sterile needles come in sealed packs and are safely disposed of after each treatment). In addition to Acupuncture, Vicky also regularly incorporates Cupping therapy and Moxibustion (using an electronic smokeless device) into her treatments.
